LINNEA LUCIFER

PSST! CAN YOU KEEP A SECRET?

Psst! Can you keep a secret? Excellent! Then let me tell you what I’ve been up to these past few weeks. I know I shouldn’t, I know it’s far too early, but I can’t help it – I just want to share this with you…

After three years of planning and preparations, I’ve finally reached a stage where I get to build something visible! Not just thinking about it, making flow charts, researching best practices and buying the tools required, but actually creating something with my own hands again.

There are few things I love more.

I can’t tell you exactly what it is I’ve been working on for so long, but I can spill two little beans today.

1) It is something that involves a crazy amount of writing, editing and graphic design.

2) It also relates to (my) New Year’s resolutions, and on New Year’s Eve, I went a little bonkers and told my imaginary muse companion about it.

Yes, I know. Those little beans weren’t particularly enlightening, but I guess there’s one more thing I could tell you. The sheer sight of unclaimed white space turns me into a drooling pup; so I did take notes of my last few thoughts for 2021, the first thought for 2022, and a rather weird pillow talk that I had with my muse in the middle of the new year’s night.

It’s nothing special, just a little Happy New Year and welcome to 2022 musing that I wrote in the first hours of the new year. I have many misgivings about what lies ahead of us, and much sadness in my heart over what the last two years have brought, so it’s not a very positive text I’m afraid. But it is a part of me, so it deserves a place in my more personal blog space: Argbiggan (in Swedish) and Gamergran.

Right, the new year has begun and I’ve managed to keep up with my Sisyphos project so far, even though I’ve had to rethink the order and priority of things. Very little of what I’ve been doing so far has been visible (apart from my pandemic panic room), but I’ve been able to track my progress in the growing number of ticks on my to-do lists.

Right, I’m going to leave this post here and crack on with stuff that needs doing. Like feeding my self-loathing for not being able to get shit done at the rate I would like to.

If you found your way here, read this text, and still want to know more about this secret I’m talking about, you can check out the Linktree in the top menu for links to all the fun stuff I’ve got going on and the places where you can find me.

Please, if you have a minute to spare, leave a little comment before you go. They mean the world to me, and they help me prove to Google and other search engines that I exist. Come to think of it, I could do with a reminder too… 😏

Thanks for stopping by today! I see you and appreciate your visit.

Much love,

//Linnea 🖤

ABOUT LINNEA LUCIFER

Linnea Lucifer is the Captain of the imaginary, yet very real, pirate ship Resilience and her merry crew of indie authors. But that is not all – amateur liar, weaver of stories, peddler of merch, lifelong spoonie, ancient dragon lady and Sir Bear’s irreverent pet are a few more words often used to describe the bearer of many names.

The Captain was named after a delicate little flower that grows in mossy, Swedish pine forests, and a certain fiery fallen angel. She spends most of her days daydreaming and writing fantasy, smut and painfully crappy poems. A diva of delight, she takes great pleasure in everything that tickles the senses and adds a sprinkle of magic and spice to our world.
